Job Description:
- Junior Traffic Engineer w/ITS Experience:
- Experience Level: 3-5 Years
- Requirement: 0.5 FTE starting September (with at least 4 months commitment) – potential to extend into 2023
- The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Work as part of a team and also independently in evaluating and applying Traffic Engineering and Intelligent Transportation System principles, standards, and criteria
- Assist in the development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) packages based upon agency standards and specifications
- Adhere to project schedules and budgets, working and coordinating with the PM or ITS Lead on issues
- Prepare technical reports and papers for clients and/or internal distribution
Required Qualifications :
- Proficient in Microstation, Excel, Word, Google Earth
- Design experience with fiber networks, CCTV, DMS
Preferred Qualifications :
- Project experience with the PennDOT
- Experience with PS&E package preparation for ITS Design
